Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi promoted

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government promoted Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi (IAS) to the grade of Chief Secretary (apex scale of the pay matrix). The Department of Personnel issued an official notification to this effect. According to the notification, Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration, Health and Family Welfare Departments, and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi, is promoted and allowed to officiate in the Apex Scale, level 17 of the pay matrix (Chief Secretary Grade), with effect from the date of taking over charge. On his promotion, Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi is allowed to continue as Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration, Health and Family Welfare Departments, and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi. The promotion is accorded as per the concurrence of the vacancies by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
