AGP (Asom Gana Parishad) list declared candidates for Assembly polls

GUWAHATI: The AGP (Asom Gana Parishad) on Sunday declared the party's candidates for the third-phase Assembly polls slated on April 6.

The final list includes PhanibhusanChoudhury (Bongaigaon); Dr Kamala KantaKalita (Chaygaon); Ramendra Narayan Kalita (Guwahati West); BhupenRai (Abhayapuri-North); PurnenduBanikya (Abhayapuri-South); Javed Islam (Mankachar); Jyotish Das (Goalpara-East); Sheikh Shah Alam (Goalpara-West); DrRanjitDeka (Bhabanipur); Gunindranath Das (Barpeta); KalpanaPatowari (Sarukhetri); RabiulHussain (Chenga); and Jyoti Prasad Das (Boko). The BJP and AGP are contesting the three-phase elections together. Earlier, the party had declared eight candidates for the first phase scheduled on March 27, and six others for the second phase due on April 1.
