APDCL recruitment: Preliminary probe into 2019 'scam' begins

GUWAHATI: The sleuths of the Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Cell have started their preliminary inquiry into the alleged anomalies during the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited) recruitment examinations 2019.

Sources said that the investigation got started following directions from the CMO (Chief Minister's Office).

According to sources, the sleuths on Wednesday questioned several members of the mentioned recruitment board in GU (Gauhati University). However, the investigators have not disclosed details of the interrogation.
