GUWAHATI: The Assam Government will club the reports of the Justice (retired) Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission on the alleged irregularities in the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), 2014 and 2013 examinations of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and then taken the final decision.

The Assam Government had formed a one-man judicial inquiry commission headed by Justice Biplab Kumar Sharma, retired Judge of Gauhati High Court, to inquire into the allegations of anomalies and malpractices in the conduct of the CCE 2014 examination of the APSC. The Commission is likely to submit the report soon.

The Justice Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission had also probed the allegations of anomalies and malpractices in the conduct of CCE, 2013. The Commission has already submitted this report.

On the first day of the autumn session of the Assam Assembly today, CPI (M) MLA Manoranjan Talukdar asked what steps the government would taken based on the inquiry report of the Justice Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission on the alleged anomalies in CCE, 2013.

In a written reply, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that after the Commission submits the report on the CCE, 2014, the government will club both reports and then take the final decision based on the two reports. He also informed that to examine the report on the CCE, 2013, the government had already formed a five-member committee.
