Assam COVID graph: 1,171 fresh cases; 20 deaths

GUWAHATI: As many as 1,171 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the State on Friday when 20 people died of the pandemic. While the positivity rate in the State during the day was 1.05 per cent, the recovery rate was 96.63 per cent. The highest number of positive cases was 144 in Kamrup Metro district. It was followed by Golaghat with 79 cases, Kamrup (R) with 89 and Lakhimpur with 74 cases.
