Assam COVID graph: 1,621 new corona cases, 15 death

GUWAHATI: As many as 1,621 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the State on Friday when 15 people died of the pandemic. While the positivity rate in the State during the day was 1.10 per cent, the recovery rate was 96.22 per cent. The highest number of positive cases was 188 in Kamrup Metro district. It was followed by Golaghat with 128 cases, Dibrugarh with 96 and Lakhimpur with 110 cases.
