Assam COVID toll rises to 655; active cases 29,350

GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 toll in the State rose to 655 as 17 patients lost their lives due to the infection in the past 24 hours. While the tally in the State stands at 1,69,985, as many as 1,39,977 of them have been discharged so far. The total active cases in the State are 29,350.
