Assam Government shuffles IAS, IPS and ACS officers

GUWAHATI: The State Government has shuffled IAS, IPS and ACS officers in a massive way, including the transfer of the Kamrup (M) District Commissioner (DC) with the posting of Sumit Sattawan (IAS) to the Metropolitan district as the DC.

According to a notification from the Personnel Department, Pallav Gopal Jha (IAS), District Commissioner, Kamrup (M) and Project Director, JICA-assisted Guwahati Water Supplies Project (additional) is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Taxes, Assam, and Project Director, Assam Infrastructure Investment Programme as additional charge. He will continue to hold the charge of Project Director, JICA-assisted Guwahati Water Supplies Project.

Sumit Sattawan (IAS), District Commissioner, Lakhimpur, is transferred and posted as District Commissioner, Kamrup (M).

Rakesh Agarwala (IAS), Commissioner of Taxes, Assam and Excise, Assam and Managing Director, Assam Tea Corporation (ATC), is relieved from the charge of Commissioner of Taxes, Assam.

Megha Nidhi Dahal (IAS), Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation, and Project Director, Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme, is relieved from the charge of Project Director, Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme.

Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge (IAS), Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department, is transferred and posted as the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur.

Masanda Magdalin Pertin (IAS), District Commissioner of Baksa and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region, is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Department and Mission Director, Assam Skill Development Mission and MD, Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission as additional charges.

Ankur Jain (IPS), Mission Director, Assam Skill Development Mission, is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Transport, Assam.

Robin Kumar (IPS), Commissioner of Transport, Assam and Managing Director, Assam Medical Services Corporation, is relieved from the charge of Commissioner of Transport, Assam.

Ms Krishna Barua (ACS), Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development Department and MD, Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, is transferred and posted as District Commissioner, Baksa and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region, as additional charge.
