Assam Government & State Bank of India sign MoU on Auto loan for PwDs

GUWAHATI: The State Government and SBI (State Bank of India) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bank loans for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) employees of the government here in the presence of Finance Minister Ajanta Neog and SBI's Assistant General Manager Binoy Kumar on Friday. According to the MoU, PwD employees can take bank loans up to Rs 10 lakh for purchasing two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The State Government will extend four per cent subsidy of the total loan amount.
