GUWAHATI: The Assam Police intensified their investigation into the cash-for-job scam in the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) with inputs relating to the two absconding accused, including Rajib Paul, a sibling of former APSC chairman Rakesh Paul. The investigators have received inputs that the two absconding accused of the cash-for-job scam in the APSC have since been hiding in Nepal. However, they will have to ascertain it.

The investigators became more active after the State Government had asked them to intensify their investigation and not let any erring people in the scam go scot-free.
