Assam Pradesh Congress Committee names 55 candidates for GMC poll

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Saturday published a list of 55 candidates for the ensuing election to 60 wards of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation.

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Saturday published a list of 55 candidates for the ensuing election to 60 wards of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation.

The nominees include 36 women and 19 men. The remaining five candidates will be announced soon, stated a communiqué issued by the APCC.
