Assam Registers 3,571 New COVID Cases and 40 Deaths on Saturday

GUWAHATI: Forty people died of the COVID-19 in the State on June 19 when 3,571 new cases were detected. The positivity rate in the State during the day was 2.2 per cent. As many as 1.61 lakh tests were conducted in the State during the day. In Kamrup (M), 199 new cases were detected during the day. The overall recovery rate in the State was 91.7 per cent on Saturday.
