Beware of fake SMS: APDCL to consumers

Miscreants keep sending SMS stating that ‘your previous electricity bill was not updated, and as a result, your electricity connection will get disconnected tonight’. APDCL makes its consumers clear that “such messages are fakes. APDCL never sends such messages. The official SMS sender ID of APDCL is DAPDCL. If you receive such messages, make sure to complain about them by calling 1912 or the nearest APDCL sub-division office”.
