KOKRAJHAR: State Finance and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said that the fourth BTC elections would be held within December by following the COVID-19 protocols.
Talking to media persons, Sarma said that the State cabinet in its recent meeting decided that the elections would be held within December, adding that everything would depend on the pandemic situation.
Stating that the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been in an alliance since the last five years, he added that the relationship between the parties is still intact.
He also said that the relationship between the BJP and the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) was on the right track.
