Chairman of the Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd VK Pipersania Quits Post

GUWAHATI: VK Pipersania quit as the Chairman of the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd), APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd) and the AEGCL (Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd) on Saturday. Till the appointment of the new Chairman for these three power companies, Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua will be in charge. Upon his retirement as the Chief Secretary of the State, the erstwhile Sarbananda Sonowal Government had appointed Pipersania as the Chairman of the three power companies.
