Child labour is child abuse: Assam Police

The Assam Police has appealed to the people of the state to educate the masses that 'child labour is tantamount to child abuse'. It has also appealed to the people to educate the masses about child exploitation. People can do so by calling 1098 and reporting cases of child labour to their nearest police station. Employing children as domestic help is a punishable offence.
