CID grilling SI Hrishikesh Das in connection with Bajali Police extortion case

GUWAHATI: The CID is grilling another SI (sub-inspector), Hrishikesh Das, in connection with the Bajali Police extortion case.

According to police sources, SI Das is currently working for the Kokrajhar Border Police. Arrested SP Siddhartha Buragohain named SI Das during the interrogation.

Meanwhile, the CID took Siddhartha Buragohain to the Directorate of Forensic Sciences for his voice sample test today. The CID collected the fingerprints of former SP Siddhartha Buragohain and home guards Deepjoy Roy and Nabir Ahmed to ascertain their handling of the suitcase with cash recovered from Pathsala.
