SIVASAGAR: Like the story of Anil Kapoor-starrer popular Hindi film Nayak, a Class X student from Demow took over as District Commissioner of Sivasagar for a day on Monday.
Son of a tea garden worker from Deoriting Tea Estate, Bhagyadeep Rajgarh took charge as the District Commissioner of Sivasagar for a day and it was a dream come true for the student of Bokota Barbam Higher Secondary School as he aspired to be an administrative officer. Bhagyadeep Rajgarh was brought to the office of the District Commissioner by District Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav himself from his residence at Borline of Deoriting Tea Estate. Bhagyadeep then chaired the District Development Committee meeting and reviewed various ongoing development schemes.
According to sources, Bhagyadeep has availed this benefit through Assam Government’s innovative Aarohan scheme. District Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav will be the mentor of the meritorious student who took over as the District Commissioner for a day under the Aarohan scheme of the Government of Assam.
