CM Sarbananda Sonowal takes stock of situation in Dhekiajuli

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Dhekiajuli and its adjacent areas near the epicentre of the massive earthquake that jolted Assam in the morning on Wednesday.

He visited Sirajuli Model Hospital and Tarajan Bengali village and took stock of the damage caused by the earthquake.

Later talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said that the district administrations have already been directed to carry out a field survey to ascertain the extent of damage caused by the earthquake and to submit the report to the government, a press release said.
