Colleges, varsities asked to form task forces for National Education Policy (NEP)-2020

GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Higher Education has instructed all universities and colleges of the State, including private ones, to constitute three-member task forces under the chairpersonship of the respective Registrar/Principal as part of preparations to implement the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020.

The universities and colleges have been further asked to appoint one of the members of the task force as the Coordinator. The task forces will be mandated to undertake general and specific responsibilities related to the implementation of NEP-2020, as per the decision of the Government. In order to ensure smooth implementation of NEP-2020, the assigned task forces will be responsible for execution, coordination and communication with the Directorate of Higher Education with regard to NEP-2020.

The details of the constituted committee along with their contact details will have to be sent via e-mail to the Directorate of Higher Education on or before May 2.
