Compensation for Silsako evicted families in Kamrup (M) district

GUWAHATI: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kamrup (M) district, has approved Rs 75 lakh as compensation to the evicted people for the damage to their houses. In phase I, the owners of five demolished RCC buildings will get Rs 10 lakh each, and the owners of five demolished Assam-type houses will get Rs 5 lakh each.
