COVID-19 Death Toll Falls to 55 in Assam, 3,245 New Cases Detected

GUWAHATI: After two weeks the COVID-19 death toll in the State is 55 on Sunday. The toll was 56 on May 16 after which it went up to 92. The number of new COVID-19 positive cases detected in the State during the day is 3,245. The positivity rate is 4.5 per cent. In Kamrup (M) 422 new cases were detected during the day. It is followed by 377 in Tinsukia, 350 in Dibrugarh and 238 in Cachar.
