TEZPUR/NALBARI: The two-day 'dry run' for COVID-19 vaccination programme began in Sonitpur and Nalbari districts on Monday following a directive from the Centre.
The programme was conducted in the presence of WHO (World Health Organization) representatives at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital, Dekiajuli CHC, Tezpur Urban Health Centre, a private health institution, and also at No. 2 Rongagora HWC under Dekiajuli BPHC in Sonitpur district.
The dry-run drive is looking into probable lapses or bottlenecks that may crop up in the actual vaccination programme, said a Health official.
On the other hand, such a drive was also started at five other locations — including Ghagrapara Health Centre and Harimandir Hospital — in Nalbari district.
