COVID Positivity Rate Rises to 2.76% in Assam, 1523 New Cases Detected

GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 positivity rate in the State has risen to 2.76 on Sunday when 37 people died of the viral infection. 1523 new positive cases were detected during the day. In Kamrup (M) 149 new cases were reported. It was followed by Sonitpur district with 137 cases, Jorhat with 109 cases and Golaghat with 95 cases. To date, 68.53 lakh doses of vaccines have been inoculated in the State. The recovery rate in the State is 93.69 per cent.
