Diwali holiday on October 25 in Assam's Kamrup (M) district

GUWAHATI: The state government has declared a local holiday in the Kamrup (M) district on October 25 next on account of the Diwali festival.

According to a government Notification, all state government offices, educational institutions and all financial institutions (under the Negotiable Instruments Act) will remain closed on that day.
