Do you have any errors in your EPFO records? Here's how you can correct them

Do have any errors in your EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organization) records? If so, you can correct them as the Organization has issued new guidelines on February 12, 2021.

There are different ways for minor and major correction of records. Minor correction includes expansion of abbreviated names and surnames as full or vice versa etc. Female employees changing their surnames after marriage etc., also come under this category.

Major corrections include complete change of names involving two fields. The applications for such corrections need properly proved documents from employers and employees.
