Draft delimitation will protect Assam: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the delimitation plan is going to protect Assam and its indigenous people. “Who will gain and who will lose doesn’t matter. What is important is that it will protect the state and its indigenous people politically,” he said. Welcoming the draft delimitation proposals, he said that a section of people is trying to cook up a communal issue of the draft.
