ECI stays transfer of 12 IPS, 6 APS officers

GUWAHATI: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has kept in abeyance the transfer of 12 IPS and six APS officers as they are connected with conduct of elections. The State Government issued the transfer order on February 26 after the ECI had announced the dates of Assembly polls on Friday.
