The administration opened a relief camp at Kalaigaon in the Udalguri district, along with 16 relief distribution centres. According to an ASDMA report, the Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger level at Nematighat, the Kopili at Kampur, and the Puthimari River at the NH Road crossing in the Kamrup district. NDRF and SDRF personnel have been deployed with five boats in the Dibrugarh district. Reports of erosion poured in from 12 districts and landslides from Dima Hasao and Karimganj districts.

The National Highway was blocked for several hours near Baihata Chariali in the Kamrup district due to the uprooting of a tree on the road. The traffic resumed after the administration removed the tree.

The surging waters of the Singara River created havoc in the Naoboicha LAC in the Lakhimpur district.
