GUWAHATI: After a long time, the Brahmaputra is flowing below its danger level in its entire stretch in the state from Dibrugarh to Dhubri. The flood situation in the state is improving. As of today, 11 revenue circles in seven districts are reeling under floods. The districts are Darrang, Dhubri, Golaghat, Jorhat, Kamrup, Kamrup (M), and Nagaon. As many as 36,696 people in 144 villages are still facing the wrath of the deluge. Two relief camps are operational in the state, where 1,029 people are taking shelter.
