Guwahati Police seized large quantities of ganja from oil tanker

GUWAHATI: In a major operation, Guwahati Police busted a massive contraband cannabis smuggling bid estimated to be worth several crores on Tuesday night. A joint team of Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) and East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) recovered the contraband ganja loaded in an oil tanker bearing registration NL 01 AH 0501. According to sources, the oil tanker was operating under the banner of Bharat Petroleum.
