Help desks for online transfer, posting of teachers in State

GUWAHATI: Assam's School Education Department has ordered the formation of four transfer portal operational management help desks for the smooth functioning of transfer and posting of teachers online.

It asked the SSA Mission Director to constitute a transfer portal help desk for SSA teachers to redress their grievances, coordinate with the stakeholders and senior officers, and resolve problems. The department has asked the Director of Elementary Education and DEE to constitute a help desk for online transfer and posting of elementary school teachers.

The Department has asked the Director of Secondary Education and the DEE to constitute a help desk for the transfer and posting of secondary school teachers.

For the transfer and posting of the technical maintenance cell, it has asked the SA, MIS (Management Information Systems) to head a help desk comprising a technical person from SSA MIS for technical management of the online portal, improvement and development, including the security system.
