Fasal Bima Yojan in Assam: Are you an insured farmer under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) suffering loss due to damage of crops by storms, untimely rains, hailstorms, landslides, cloudbursts, lightning, forest fire etc? If so, you have to inform the authorities concerned like Agriculture officers and the insurance company or through the Crop Insurance App within 72 hours of the damage.

You will have to mention the date and time of the damage to your crops, besides sending a photo of the damaged crops. For details, you can dial farmers' call centre 1800-180-1551.
