India recorded a single-day spike of record 24,850 new coronavirus cases

NEW DELHI: India recorded a single-day spike of record 24,850 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, taking its total tally to 6,73,165 corona-positive cases. While 4,09,082 patients have recovered so far, there are 2,44,814 active cases across the country. During the last 24 hours, 14,856 patients have recovered; the recovered cases exceed the active cases by 1,64,268. The toll rose to 19,283, data of Health Ministry said. (IANS)
