Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) is a two-year course for which 90 per cent of the expenditure is borne by the government and 10 per cent by the candidate.
Higher Secondary-passed minority girls within the age group of 17-30 years with at least 40 per cent marks on an average from any stream are eligible for this course. The minority communities included under this scheme are Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis.
The annual income of the guardians of the applicants should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh. For the online application form, one should logon to https://amdb.assam.gov.in. There will be counseling after the submission of the application forms.
