Information about Aarogya Setu App and its usefulness

Aarogya Setu is a mobile App launched by the Government of India to help users identify whether they are at the risk of COVID-19 infection. It is a Bluetooth-based COVID-19 tracker.

The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the App regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.

If a person is going to a ‘Red Zone’, the App will let him/her know about it. It also helps users in identifying COVID-19 infected persons, besides giving tips on the causes of infection and its remedies. It also provides information on how to self-isolate and what to do in case you develop symptoms.

The App is found at Google Play Store.
