Are you a traditional folk artiste with less than Rs 2 lakh annual income, besides being the sole earning member of your family? If so, you can avail the assistance being offered by the State government at the rate of Rs 2,000 per month for three months – April, May and June – in the view of COVID-19 outbreak.
To avail the assistance your minimum age should be 25 years as on January 1, 2020.
Applications under the scheme for assistance to traditional folk artistes of the State will be received up to June 29, 2020 only through online. The website – www.anudaanassamculture.in – has specifically mentioned all requirements that have to be fulfilled by the applicants. The applicants have to show their age proofs like voter IDs, PAN Cards, school certificates or any other government documents. Government service holders and pensioners are eligible for the assistance. If any of the traditional folk artistes have received assistance from the State government between March and June this year, they cannot apply for this assistance.
