INFORMATION: Deendayal Divyang Rehab Scheme

Are you a Divyang with over 40 per cent physical disability and aged between 18 and 50 years? If so, you can avail the Rs 20,000 one-time grant under the 'Deendayal Divyang Rehabilitation Scheme' (DDRS) for self-employment.

To avail this benefit, an applicant has to clear the Class-X standard, should be a resident of Assam and his/her annual income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh. All these should be backed by relevant certificates. Applicants having done skill development training will get priority.

The applicant has to submit his/her passport size photo and bank account number with IFSC code. Applications will be received by the district Social Welfare department offices till August 21, 2020.
