Jihadi network will be rooted out from Assam: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the jihadi network would be rooted out from Assam.

Talking to media persons today, the Chief Minister said, "We received information from the Centre that jihadi activities had started in Assam. Accordingly, we took steps to launch crackdown on jihadi activities. We will not allow jihadi outfits to spread their tentacles in Assam."
