Lok Sabha Election: 2,744 Centenarian Electors in Assam

GUWAHATI: Electors whose age is 100 years or more than 100 years will get the scope to select their choices of candidates during the three-phase Parliamentary polls slated for April 11, 18, and 23 in Assam. According to the published summary revision of Photo Electoral Roll (PER) 2019, there are 2,744 such centenarian electors across the State. The total voters are 2,17,60,604, informed a source in the State Election Department, Assam. In the post-80 years bracket, the PER has 2,60,849 voters while the 70-79 age group has 6,82,332 electors. In the 60-69 age group, there are 15,34,934 electors while in the 50-59 years group, there are 28,93,302 electors. In the 40-49 years group, there are 43,04,485 electors; in the 30-39 years group, there are 56,69,525 electors; in the 20-29 age group, there are 57,08, 688 voters; and in the 18-19 years group, there are 7,06,489 electors.
