According to R&DM statistics, it has received 30,731 applications for mutation by inheritance; 16,165 applications for mutation by deed; 27,095 for partition; 1,363 for reclassification; 5,960 for allotment; 7,908 for conversion; 4,067 for name deletion; 5,636 for mobile number update; 10,698 for name correction and 564 for area correction.

Talking to The Sentinel, R&DM Minister Jogen Mohan said, "This is the first mission-mode disposal of land-related issues in the state. It is happening under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

"I appeal to all needy people of the state to apply for their land-related issues through the portal basundhara.assam.gov.in – within November 30, 2021. The applicants will get their land-related issues addressed by May 10, 2022.

"If anyone finds it difficult to apply online, they can approach their nearest office of the Circle Officer will all relevant land documents. Office staffers in the circle offices will help them.

"I request all not to take the services of any brokers in their land-related works. Rather they should lodge complaints with the authorities concerned if anyone from circle offices is not ready to help them gratis."
