While participating in the panel discussion, Dr Faizi said, "Prophet Muhammad Sahab through his teachings has always preached the message of peace, harmony, brotherhood, unity, and equality. His teachings forbid any form of discrimination amongst the individuals based upon religion, community, or any other factor, and consider all humans as equals."
Dr. Faizi further added that, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwaas, Sabka Prayas' has ensured the benefits of government policies and development reaches to every section of the society especially the marginalized and socially deprived people which is also the basis of Prophet Muhammad's teachings".
During the deliberations, activist Rayeeh said that the Muslim community is an integral part of India and has contributed largely to India's development. He said, "For India to continue on the path of progress, it is important that all communities work together with a spirit of 'Indians first' before being a member of any community. We must unite and strengthen Indian unity and integrity."
He appreciated the work being done by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi to uplift the Pasmanda community and provide equal opportunities to all communities.
"Born in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Prophet Muhammad gave the message of universal brotherhood, preached for observing equality and placing always first selfless service to humanity," said IMF Convenor Satnam Singh Sandhu.
He further added that "Indian Muslims have always played a significant role in the social and economic development of the nation, but the need of the hour is that we all pledge on today's auspicious day to unite together and mend out our differences that are based upon caste, gender and religion".
The 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in government can be rightly termed as the golden era for all the communities as he ensured that the government policies should be over and above the politics of appeasement and that their benefits should be given to all the Indians, added Sandhu.
The economic benefits under all the schemes such as PM Awaas Yojna, PM Ujjwala Yojna, PM Kissam Samman Nidhi Yojna, and PM Mudra Yojna have been conferred to every section of the society cutting across the barriers of religion, caste, gender or community, he said.
Dr Rizvi said, "The teachings of Prophet Muhammad have never promoted religious division but unity amongst all the communities. His teachings have brought all religions together. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India has spearheaded the path of progress and it has been the effect of his long-term vision that the nation today ranks amongst the world's top five economies".
During the panel discussion, Sufi Foundation President Kashish Warsi said, "Muslims residing in India are way ahead in terms of progress in comparison to Muslims in other countries. They enjoy freedom, equal rights, and a sense of security in India, and are equal participants in the nation's development."
He also mentioned ongoing propaganda across the world that the Muslim Community is unhappy and unsafe in India, which is a false narrative built by the Western media and vested interests against our country.
