GUWAHATI: The Greater Guwahati Unit of North East India Petroleum Dealers' Association (NEIPDA) has withdrawn the 48-hour petrol pump closure following a discussion with Kamrup Metro deputy commissioner Biswajit Pegu and officials of oil marketing companies here on Thursday.
The NEIPDA did call the 48-hour closure of petrol pumps from 6 am of October 22 to 6 am of October 24, 2021.
"We have withdrawn the bandh call as the officials of oil marketing companies assured us to fulfil our demands shortly," NEIPDA-GGU president Rajib Goswami said.
