Phase II registration of Swanirbhar Naari scheme

The phase II registration of the scheme Swanirbhar Naari, a scheme for women’s empowerment through financial independence, is going on online through the website swanirbharnaari.assam.giv.in. The registration drive will conclude on July 8, 2023. This registration will enable women to procure 14 handloom items, including different varieties of gamosa, Bodo aronai, Karbi poho, Rabha pajar, Dimasa richa-bacha, Missing dumer, Koch Rajbongshi gamosa, Tiwa fali, and Deuri gamosa, etc., from weavers directly without the involvement of any middleman and sell them through the Artfed and the Assam Government Marketing Corporation (AGMC) Ltd.
