PM Narendra Modi & Amit Shah extend wishes to UPPL and Assam unit of BJP

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the UPPL and Assam unit of BJP for securing the majority number to form the next Council in BTR.

"The NDA is committed to serve the people of the North East. I thank the people for placing their faith on the NDA," tweeted Modi.

Home Minister Amit Shah has used his twitter handle to congratulate UPPL, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Cabinet Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass and all workers and leaders of the State unit of BJP.

"I thank the people of Assam for their continued faith in PM Narendra Modi's resolve towards a developed North East," tweeted Shah.
