Police medals for North East Region

GUWAHATI: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has named 500 Assam Police personnel for the Police Antrik Suraksha Seva Padak (PASSP) (internal security service medals) for the North East (NE) Region and 60 personnel for the Ati Utkrisht Seva Padak (AUSP) and 60 personnel for the Utkrisht Seva Padak (USP) for the year 2021.

The Union Ministry enlisted State DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Special DGP Satyendra Narayan Singh, and IGP Anurag Agarwal, among others, for the PASSP.

ADGP (CID) Arige Yagnic Venkata Krishna, ADGP Munna Prasad Gupta and ADGP (SB) Hiren Chandra Nath are among the 60 selected for the AUSP.
