Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin target set for Assam

GUWAHATI: The Ministry of Rural Development has set the target of constructing 3,65,976 houses in Assam under the PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin) in fiscal 2020-2021.

The Central government has already released approximately Rs 1,316 crores. The Panchayat & Rural Development department monitors the project under which the respective beneficiaries construct their own dwellings.
