Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays homage to Assam martyrs

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has, in a tweet on Thursday, paid "homage to the great martyrs of the Assam Movement." He further said in the tweet, "Their passion towards the progress of Assam and empowerment of the State's citizens continues to inspire us all."
