Radhakishan Damani Donates Rs 100 crore to PM-CARES Fund to fight Coronavirus

NEW DELHI: Promoter of Avenue Supermarts, Radhakishan Damani has contributed Rs 100 crore to the PM-CARES Fund for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The Chandigarh-based PGI Hospital here will contribute one day’s salary of all the categories of employees equaling to Rs 2.15 crore towards Fund. Progressive Pharmachem Ltd and Pragati Paper Converter Ltd, both of Jagiroad, Assam, have donated Rs 15 lakh each to the Fund. Ace cueist Pankaj Advani has donated Rs 5 lakh. Hockey wizard Dhanraj Pillay has contributed Rs 5 lakh. Minerva Academy owner Ranjit Bajaj has donated Rs 2 lakh to the Fund. (Agencies)
