SAKHI/181: One-stop centre for women victims

Are you a victim of or witness to domestic violence, physical assault, women smuggling, acid attack, child abuse, child marriage, dowry torture and death and cybercrimes? If so, you can contact SAKHI/181 (toll-free).

SAKHI – OSC (one-stop centre) gives temporary shelter to women in distress in crises. It provides the public interface of 181 WHL (Women Help Line) at the district level. It can extend administrative, legal and treatment help, besides psychological counselling. Sakhi is under the Department of Social Welfare.
